Privacy Policy

We collect the information needed to provide cleaning services and operate the platform, including:

• Account information such as name, email address, phone number, password hash, profile settings, and account role.
• Home and booking information such as service address, apartment or unit number, home details, access/parking instructions, notes, selected rooms, booking schedule, service type, add-ons, tips, and cancellation details.
• Payment and transaction information such as payment method references, charge status, refunds, tips, fees, and billing totals. Full card numbers are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Tidy Home.
• Cleaner and supervisor workflow information such as job status, photos submitted for completed work, supervisor inspection notes/photos, time logs, and optional location points used for job progress and safety workflows.
• Rewards, referral, and promotion information such as points, promo codes, referral codes, social follow submissions, and Google review screenshots.
• Device and notification information such as push notification tokens, app interaction events, browser or device information, and basic logs used to keep the service running.

• To create accounts, verify email addresses, authenticate users, and reset passwords.
• To schedule, manage, price, assign, complete, adjust, and cancel cleaning services.
• To process payments, tips, refunds, cancellation fees, rewards, referrals, and promotions.
• To notify customers, cleaners, supervisors, and admins about booking updates and operational events.
• To support cleaner arrival, job status, supervisor inspection, time tracking, and quality assurance workflows.
• To provide customer support, prevent fraud or abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve our services.

Information is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS when sent between the app, browser, and our servers. We use access controls, password hashing, and service providers such as Stripe for secure payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free, but we work to protect information using reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service, including:

• With cleaners, supervisors, and administrators who need booking or home details to perform and manage cleanings.
• With payment processors, hosting providers, email providers, push notification providers, mapping/address providers, storage providers, and other vendors that help operate the service.
• When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to prevent fraud or abuse.

The customer app may request notifications. The Pro app may request notifications, camera/photos, and location. Location is used for job progress, arrival/completion workflows, and safety/operational purposes. Photos may be used to document completed work or supervisor inspections. Users can manage device permissions through their phone settings.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and maintain business records. Some records, such as payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and service-history records, may be retained after account closure when required or permitted by law.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data, or request deletion of some data without deleting your account, by using our data deletion request page.

Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
